For the body to function properly, sufficient amount of blood rich of oxygen and nutrients should be supplied to the brain and other the organs. Cardiac output is the volume of blood pumped and transported by the ventricles per unit time (usually minute). Impedance Cardiography (ICG) is a noninvasive technology for measuring total electrical conductivity of the human body and its changes over time to process continuously a number of hemodynamic parameters such as Stroke Volume (SV), Heart Rate (HR), Cardiac Output (CO), Body water, Total peripheral Resistance (TPR) and Cardiac Power (CP).
